During May the Health and Safety Expo is heading to Birmingham NEC.  The health and Safety Executive plan to be in full attendance with Judith Hackitt, the HSE Chair opening the event on May 17^th at the LG Arena. This is Europe’s largest event of this kind and is a must attend event for all people involved in the industry.

At the event there will be lots of opportunities to discover the latest technology and innovations that can be used to ensure that all the health and safety legislations and laws are fully abided by and understood. At last year’s health and safety expo there were more than sixteen thousand visitors in attendance.  The 2011 event is hoping to exceed these numbers and there will be even more exhibitions to take full advantage of. Working At Height A Key Area of Concern

The health and safety Expo kicks off on the 17 May and runs until 19 May.  Some of the areas which will be covered include the regulations and laws surrounding working at height.  This is one of the areas which causes the most deaths in construction, and there is still a lot of work to be done to drive home the importance of ensure workers remain safe as they carry out their work.
