Online Speed Awareness Course

Online Speed Awareness Course – Know your Limits!

Speed is definitely a contributory factor in most serious road collisions and crashes, including casualties as a result. As we all know driving can be unpredictable at times and when something unexpected happens on the road, it is those in control of a vehicle and the speed that will determine whether a stop in time is effective, and if they can’t stop, the bigger impact on speed.

The greater the impact speed, the greater the chance of death to a person or persons. A pedestrian hit at 30mph has a one in five chances of being killed. This rises significantly to a one in three chance if they are hit at 35mph.
