Veritas Consulting have been appointed by Hibernia Networks for CDM Consultancy Services and Construction Health and Safety Support for their Telecommunications project in Bristol, Somerset and Beyond.
The works involve the provision of approximately 75km of single 110mm diameter service duct as part of Hibernia Networks Transatlantic submarine cable system to provide a 100gbs internet connection between New York and London
The plan below details the initial stage on what intends to be a very extensive project.
The works will include all excavation of trenches, by open cut or directional drilling, reinstatement to match existing finishes to HAUC specification. The works also include the provision of transition manholes to serve as points for access for cable provision and future maintenance and the provision of the cables within the newly laid ducts
